Balancing Act

It was foggy this morning, but cleared up later to give us blue skies and piercing bright sunshine.

I walked Hollie for  an hour and a half before heading off to hospital to visit my other half after her operation yesterday.

After breaking her hip in a fall she has had a procedure called Dynamic Hip Screw.

Link below for the fine detail..

She is still in a great deal of pain and recovery will be slow and uncomfortable.

Everyone has been so kind and a neighbour has already donated a splendid wheel chair. Which she had use of following her own hip replacement and which the NHS refused to have back. Apparently no longer fit for purpose because it had been used...

Thanks to everyone for the very kind and caring thoughts and comments, so pleasing and so much appreciated.

The abstract shot yesterday was reflections of our new patio trellis reflected in the glass top of our old patio table. The light conditions only prevail at certain times of the day and I grabbed the shot during a brief period of sunshine yesterday evening.

My photography has been lazy of late. Been a bit distracted. But hopefully things will improve soon...
