View from Flanders Moss

It has been a good day today with some sunshine. 
Sheila not in good form today - more confused than usual . 
Grateful for the good chat with my daughter K and for some moments of clarity in the midst of difficult days here in Doune. 
We have a very lovely carer helping here this week from Zimbabwe . She is called Mercy and has the most lovely smile  . Her car broke down and she came to ask if Jim could help. When we were chatting , I realised she is completely alone here having arrived in Scotland only a few weeks ago . Such courage needed adapting to our climate , different culture and unfamiliar geography.  
After some intervention with jump leads ,  she drove off in her wee blue VW with her 'P' plates . What a star she is!
