Resilience

I've watched this tiny seedling sunflower since early June . It's is beside the tarmac drive in a space with very little soil beside the bins . I expect it has seeded from the bird feeder.
September brought some sunshine and warmth , but I didn't expect the plant to thrive.
I am delighted it has flowered and if there are seeds I will grow them next year.
