Insects 

For all of this insect poor summer I have been trying to find a new insect but with no success.
So I was surprised today when one I did not know  landed on the housewall by the front door.

I believe it to be Apechthis compunctor. It has orange legs and is seen up to the end of October.

No doubt there are lots of Blippers who know it well. But it gives me pleasure to find something  new
