Kumbor day 1..... and relax
I was a day behind putting up yesterday's picture, so this is being posted on Wednesday and Tuesday's is also new. I hope to catch up properly tomorrow.
We were up early this morning to go to the viewpoint over Sveti Stefan, the island in the image. It's privately owned and mostly a A5* hotel. You can read about it here. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sveti_Stefan
The olive tree was one of many in the grounds of last night's hotel, I loved the twisty trunk and wondered what sights it had seen over the years.
From there we headed firstly to a jewellery factory and then a leather outlet. Everything was very nice but not something I either want not need although I did get them to clean my rings. I hate these visits which seem to be a necessary part of the trip.
The view to the hills was taken from the Trivat ferry as we crossed back over the neck of the lake, the opposite direction to the one that I blipped a couple of days ago.
We arrived at our hotel for our next week at around 1pm and said goodbye to our guide. The hotel is lovely, the final part of the collage is the view to the west at sunset. Hopefully I'll get tonight's blip up early tomorrow so that I've caught up. Thanks for all your comments stars and hearts.
