Turn to the sun

Even the sunflowers are feeling the heat today! We revisited Charroux, the medieval village just up the road and on our way passed this field of sunflowers.

Again the cameras worked overtime in the village. We particularly love the public clock museum that has hundreds of clocks all lovingly restored. There are examples of five centuries of mechanical public clocks on display. We were so lucky to be there when at 10.59 they began chiming the hour. So many different tones and volumes. So we will have to go back again to blip some of the clocks another day.
