BBQ

A BBQ is my dad's favourite ever meal. When I take them anywhere I always pack the tools, matches and these wee ready BBQ's. Here he is in the sun supervising that I lit it correctly. It is so easy to make them happy - they really don't need anything fancy and just enjoy having company around. Mum loves to chat and does so incessantly and it is such a relief for her that somebody actually can hear her and listens! Dad is so very deaf now that his hearing aids are just an inconvenience.
We stayed around the house today as it was extremely hot and the beach was jammed. I met a man when out for a wee walk who had tried to take a wind break onto the beach - but he had to put it back in his car as there was not enough unoccupied sand to put in up!!!
A lovely peaceful and relaxing day. My friends arrive tomorrow!
