Friends

As I suspected, the closer we got to the East Neuk, mum talked incessantly about her childhood, her school, her friends and how she couldn't wait to get there! Somewhat different to the rant of yesterday!
I got them settled and then disappeared to shop for all the necessities for 3 days and returned to find them both laughing and chatting with the neighbours who are our friends.
A very pleasant and fun evening spent on the terrace in the blazing sun. Bliss!
