A VERY Fun Day!

After having my hair cut this morning, I met up with Tookie. Always such a joy to spend time with her! I see that she's created a marvelous collage of yours truly (thanks Clare!) for her Blip today! We went to a very fun Bavarian restaurant that I didn't know existed, and ate Dill Pickle Soup and yes, to my astonishment it was delicious! 

Then we went to see the Ole Bolle Troll created by Thomas Danbo. (See extra.) Fascinating story and a very, very cool thing to visit. Then, because my friend chickened out on our golf game, I got to hang out more with Tookie and we went for a fabulous walk in the woods where we found all sorts of fungi! (See the other extra.)
