Monday: Celery “Giant Red” …

… which I decided to move outside a couple of days ago because I thought it was too hot in the greenhouse, unfortunately it was still outside when “Storm Ashley” arrived - the leaves and stems were snapped in the wind but they did get a good watering :-(  … hopefully they will survive, this is another experiment in growing food for all the year round!

MrD was working today to cover for the other delivery man. I made chilli con carne and rice for his dinner this evening and had an afternoon of reading and relaxing.
