Sunday: Storm Ashley

Torrential rain all night then the gale force winds of Storm Ashley all day, winds strengthened late afternoon blowing off the land - hate the wind … :-((

We had leek and potato soup for lunch, the one I made on Friday but had forgotten about it yesterday!!

Homemade pizza for tea :-)

Today’s Blip is our Bay Tree, which came here as a tiny seedling from my good friend and Blip mentor MrsToad about 40 years ago, it’s grown into a substantial tree but our friend the tree surgeon will prune it tomorrow … weather permitting!

8pm and the wind is still howling  :-((
