Lookin' Out....

..My Back Door!

No "happy creatures dancing on my lawn," but just as awesome?..Trees all dressed up in their seasonal finery..in glorious golds, oranges, yellows and reds...

At last, our autumn celebration of colour is here. It has been late this year, and it may not be as wide-spread and spectacular as usual, but still, it makes my day to look out into my back yard every morning and see those colours come alive as the rising sun hits them and makes them glow...wow..truly inspiring.

I find that I need to look for inspiration wherever I can find it these days. The transition from hospital to home has had its challenges and I am a long way from getting my mojo back. I can see progress though. I am going to physio for my right arm and its range of movement is improving; the left is still in its splint and hopefully healing. I go back to the surgeon in two weeks to have it re-assessed. Finger crossed.

Part of my problem is that other medical issues that arose during my hospital stay are still a concern and are sometimes harder to deal with than the arm issues! I must admit, I have my "down" days....I do hope that my family doctor can get those back under control soon so that I will get my energy back and begin to feel more like my old self..you know... the one that loved to take photos and post journals?

Which brings me to this... I really miss blipping and following so many interesting people as they go about their lives, pursuing their passions whether it is a love of nature, gardening, crafts, photography, building organs from scratch, whipping off to Greece or Madeira for a quick getaway, visiting National Trust sites, participating in park runs, climbing mountains, playing with grandchildren, reading and recommending books, volunteering for good causes, and as well, dealing with the difficult challenges life throws their way and sharing that journey with us ...From all those wonderful people, I take inspiration.....and so I realize that it is in my best interest to at least try to get back into blipping!  So this posting is a first step.
