West breakwater lighthouse

Long since decommissioned. The East breakwater lighthouse, between the leftmost two cranes, is functional. 

Wet and windy in the morning. Sunny and windy all afternoon, then more rain and wind in the evening. Walked down the Trinity path, by Newhaven harbour out to the Western harbour promenade. Three swans on the ponds. Back inland to the Newhaven tram stop. There was a big French frigate at the cruise terminal mooring. 

Lots of leaves flying in the wind as we walked down from the tram stop. Not cold, SW wind, 14C.
