Riber Castle

Taken through the bandstand in Matlock’s very pleasant and well maintained park.

Very wet this morning as forecast so we had a leisurely full cooked English breakfast in the caravan. Then we decided to do the Ecclesbourne Railway. By the time we got off at Duffield the sun was out so on getting back to Wirksworth we drove the long way round back to the caravan which just happened to take us through Matlock then on to Chatsworth which looked magnificent in the autumn sunshine.

Now having a quick half in the George in Youlgreave before heading back to the caravan for the night.

Another relaxing day.
