A grand day
In all ways.
Had a wonderful time at the wool gathering. Only went slightly over my self imposed budget, so very happy. Lots of likeminded people, lots of wonderful colour, and came out feeling inspired.
Mr H picked me up and we headed back to the caravan for lunch and then we went to wander around Ashbourne. As lovely as ever and particularly so in the stunning blue sky and sun shine. This is apparently the longest pub sign in the world.
Then headed to Tissington which is a favourite of ours, and it didn’t disappoint. The colours were phenomenal.
Headed back to the caravan via Matlock Bath - which was heaving and looked more like Blackpool than the Derbyshire dales - and now settle in for the night, wondering what the forthcoming storm will be like. Radio making it out it will be dreadful but no weather warning here.
