We did have some tentative plans for today but they got derailed by the weather and we had no back-up plans in place. Silly us.

I went to Mass this morning whilst Jayne chose to do a Waitrose shop.

After a late breakfast and to avoid the rain and wind we opted to stay at home. Jayne doing crochet and myself catching up on a few television programmes. We lit the fire earlier than usual and parked ourselves in front of it.

It's still windy out there but all in all it hasn't been as bad as feared, and it's now quite bright with no rain.
