The weather has been so lovely today. Sunny and mild - a perfect autumn day. Jess and I walked up in the forest. We had the place to ourselves.

I walked around the garden this afternoon, making the most of the sunshine - tomorrow we expect the arrival of the first named winter storm - Ashley. We won't get winds as strong as further north, but there's still a yellow weather warning. My planned beach walk with Fi and dogs may not go ahead :-(
