Floral

I had lunch in Charlotte St hotel today with a former colleague and friend, Lorenzo, who has been a great support.  He then went off and I stayed on in one of the sitting rooms there to do a couple of zooms.  The hotel is a Firmdale hotel, known for their exuberant use of colour and I took several pictures of flowers and paintings but absolutely adored this cool explosion of Michaelmas daisies and salvias in front of a painting of a row of little houses.  

I didn’t go and see Rory today as he had a lot of friends visiting but we talked on the phone and although he still has a temperature he was sounding brighter.  We’re going away on Sunday and he will still be in hospital but one of his friends is planning to move in with him when he gets out which is reassuring.  

After my calls I stopped off and bought a couple more pieces of Heattech from Uniqlo - all prepped and ready to go. 

Home for supper and episode 1 of RIVALS on Disney+ written and produced by my old friend DTC. It has been much commented on and was huge fun
