'Serotina'

I've a special fondness for honeysuckle as it was the first flower I learned to paint, a long time ago now.
I painted first from botanical illustrations, and then from life, and that got me interested in flowers and thus a career in gardening was begun.

Great excitement; most of the family will be arriving tomorrow! Some of them going straight to Bantry but the girl, and my son and his family are coming here for the evening. I am so much looking forward to seeing my little two year old grandson.
