Mount Pleasant Park

This little area of land was once Mount pleasant colliery between Swillington and Garforth Bridge. when it became disused it was just a funny triangular corner between 2 roads, it was tidied up a bit but became a place for drug dealers to ply their trade, plus it was said some unsavoury gongs on with couples in cars, so it was barred and padlocked for a long time. Then the council tidied it up cut the grass put seats there and tarmacked the car park and some paths, now it's a nice walk round with the dogs. Lots of room for them to play, You don't get a lot of people in a morning so a fairly quiet walk.

Today has been another pleasant day lots of sunshine, just an odd shower tonight, but the forecast doesn't look good for the weekend.

I stripped my bed and got all the bedding washed plus the clothes and towels in the laundry basket. We made a vegetable hot pot in the slow cooker for tea, A big one will last 3 meal times for us.
