Sunflower

I worked from home today, so started my day with my usual pre-work walk.  There was a nice sky this morning, but it  may have been a warning of things to come.  Once back home I had no sooner logged onto work and got stuck into something, than I realised I was running late for my hospital appointment.  I made it there just in time, but was glad I had to wait for a little while, to catch my breath.

They continue to be happy with my progress, and are trying a different type of dressing on it.  They wanted me to go back on Friday to check it out, but there are no appointments to be had, so I was given a few dressings to take away in case I need to renew it, as I now don’t have an appointment until later next week.  I’m looking forward to the day that I leave without any dressing at all.

Work continued to be very busy this week, compounded by the lack of staff.  I was determined to have a break at lunchtime as it was such a nice day.  I had a quick walk along the road and back again.

I was glad to log off this evening.  I made a roasted salmon and roasted vegetables dish for tea.  I went for a walk around the block then came home and did some work, which I have struggled to get to over the past couple of days.  BB called TT this evening to check up on a piece of work he has been doing.  TT gave him some advice, but thought he had done a reasonable job, especially as he has never studied biology before.

We’ve not had great success with our sunflowers this year.  They are very small and very late,  This was the one I blipped recently.
