Evening Sky

Monday morning always comes around far too quickly.  It was gloomy, i.e. dark as we walked down to catch our bus this morning.  We then realised that there were no street lights on.  However the gloom didn’t last, as it turned out to be a really lovely day, unfortunately I spent the day at work. 
 
It was very quiet in the office today, as it is the Edinburgh school holiday week.  I did manage to pop out at lunchtime to do a return and pick up some lunch. 
 
As ever there was plenty of work to be getting on with, but I did make time to catch up with a colleague, who I haven’t seen much over the past few weeks, especially as he is retiring in a few weeks’ time.  He is a little/a lot in denial about it, and it still working flat out, no winding down for him.
 
I made pasta with a tomato and tuna sauce for tea, and then later I popped out in the dark for the rest of my steps. 
 
There was a lovely sunset when I left the office this evening.
