Notes: Chilly overnight! Woke ~445a w/ a smoke detector beeping. Finally got up and hobbled into the office - built a precarious step up w/ a small step ladder on a leather chest. Was finally able to change the battery w/ one of my own. Seemed to work but started beeping again a couple hrs later. Asked Dominika to come over and she did what she could but we only got other ones beeping. Called the local fire dept for a smoke alarm check and they came out - by then it had stopped beeping again. They did some checks and reset the circuit breaker - has seemed ok since. Made eggs for Lizzy and I this morning and she ate w/ me. We napped then ~1115a - 115p or so. Leg very stiff getting up - could put some weight on it thru the day, better when I haven't just iced or been sitting/laying. Afternoon hot bath again - so wonderful, cooked a batch of chicken for Lizzy and warmed up some of my freezer stuff, sautéed another onion for me in butter. She ate again w/ me (helps to pour red meat juice over her food). Did a load of laundry, made another batch of cacao whipped cream. Tried to organize a bit more and put a few more things away. Thought Michelle was coming tomorrow (Fri) but had it wrong. She'll come Sat and stay thru Fri morning. I had booked a session w/ Carla for Fri morning but moved it back to next Fri. Overall, leg seems to be loosening up some and worked on massaging and moving a bit in the hot bath water. Early evening Lizzy and I took a ride down to the mailboxes - noticed I have a low tire. Quiet night, organized a little for Michelle coming. Broncos on TNF but could only stay awake until the half.
