On The Outside

SWMBO thought at first the web was on the inside of the window.

I was in the garden doing some gardening at 07.15 this morning - I didn't have a great night's sleep (although I didn't hear the fish being delivered at 05.00).


After a quick shop we went for a bit of a walk - well, it was a lovely warm morning.

My attempt to clean out the guttering failed -- the hose fitting on the damned thing doesn't actually fit to the standard hose connection.
I guess I will have to fork out for a 'professional' to do it.

I went and bought some cutting disks for the angle grinder after lunch and attacked the ancient big lathe that has been lying gathering rust in the garden for years. 
It was a terrifying beast. I had to bolt it to the garage floor to stop in walking across the floor ... the motor fitted to it was the wrong kind and was far too fast.
Mind you, I find the angle grinder frighting - the blades are so thin I always expect them the explode and do me some serious damage. However - everything went fine and I can now think about booking a trip to the dump to get rid of it.
