Brent Geese....

and a lone cormorant!  We took a little wander at Old Leigh this morning to see the invasion of Brent Geese who have now arrived! They are everywhere!! And the noise was amazing!! They aren't quiet birds!  Lots of egrets around too and some cormorants as well so lovely to see.  And a nice stop in one of the little cafes down there for a cuppa!

nice wander in the warm sunshine!! Can't believe how humid it is - we had a massive thunderstorm and rainstorm last night which was rather nice to watch from the safety of indoors!

The nice weather lured me out into the garden too so have cleared the Summer plants from the hanging baskets and now replanted them with pansies, violas and grasses
