Fuzzy moon.
At least I caught the full moon on my way to the station. It was 06.20am, a short walk up the hill to catch the same train that my sons caught on their way to school, many, many moons ago.
I noticed how the journey has changed over time. The passengers used to be very noisy, using the time to chat at the top of their voices to the their travel friends. Now there is silence. Those who are not asleep have their heads stuck in their phones.
On the second train I had a lovely chat with a woman who was going my way. Older women feel safer in the company of other elderly women. She managed to give me a condensed version of her life story in less than twenty minutes.
The last leg was on a country bus.
I checked out the olive trees and picked a whole tree full of lotus fruit, eating too many quishy ones as I worked. The net result was a crate full of fruit and I was all sticky and exhausted. I managed to drag the wheel barrow uphill to where it will stay until S comes to pick me up. I couldn't bring them home on the bus/trains.
I had intended to stay overnight but now I will be home in time to see the 6 kings tennis tournament. Sinner vs Djokovic tonight.
