Up in autumn hills..

to hear the’ mountain music’, or the roaring of the stags in the rut. The sounds and sights were excellent, better than most years ,possibly because there seemed to be many young stags challenging the elder males. There were certainly many beasts about. The colours were lovely too and we had a great walk in dry and warm weather. We also saw a Golden Eagle, a Goshawk and several Kites.
