Ready and waiting

I was back down at the village hall this morning. It was the harvest festival service at the church followed by an auction of goodies over a cuppa in the hall. I made sure the kettles were boiled and the teapot was warming before everyone arrived! It was a lively, jolly gathering with lots of money raised for charity. I should have taken  another photo of the lovely produce and the busy room, but I got a bit involved with tea making and chatter! It was cleared away and I was back home by 12.30. I did a short spell in the garden and then put my feet up for a couple of hours before teatime.
A very pleasant day.
