Self care for 7 year olds

I was meant to be studying all morning, but bumped into someone on my way to the café so we had coffee together. He's someone who always appreciates a deep conversation. He was talking briefly about crystals and described them as 'stars of the earth', loved that! He was lamenting the fact the doc has him on extremely strong meds to help his head and that he therefore can't focus, but he still manages to come up with lines like that in his third language!!
Asha and I got work done this afternoon whilst Danny and Nate were at Nate's football training. I enjoyed working side by side. 


Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny doing a good job supporting a homeless friend who's in prison.
2) A really thought provoking chaplaincy exercise.
3) Nate's enjoyment of a (battery) candlelit bath, ha!
