Worms Head
Today felt like a "Seaside" day, so I headed onto the Gower Peninsula at Rhossili. The headland there juts out to the sea. It is connected to the headland by a causeway which is only uncovered for around 2.5 hours either side of low tide. Today the tide was coming in meaning I missed the opportunity to walk onto the islands. Though I sat on the cliff top eating my lunch and watched some people (and dog) only just getting back before the causeway was covered; it not as if they weren't warned!
Heading back to the village I came across a small herd of wild Welsh ponies or horses (extra) which roam free around the peninsula. These sturdy, hairy beasts generally ignored the visitors.
It was another good day.
