Building site

To be honest, some of the double-glazing has needed replacing for years. However, my off and on efforts to engage with local companies have, oddly, come to nothing. Thankfully, it turns out it's something that Charlie, the joiner, can turn his hand to. 

Today, he and his mates were busy in the living room and the music room, so I ended up working from my bedroom, which was nice for my legs, at least, although they have largely recovered from Sunday's exertions. 

And after work, I walked down to the Royal Barn for a quick drink with IntoTheHills, as a preliminary to a proper walk later in the month. It's ages since I've seen him, so this made for a lovely appetiser!
