The colour of Autumn leaves

Yesterday was chilly, we pottered over to the allotment, dug for an hour and then came home.  I picked up various leaves and spent some time playing with them (photographically).  Here is a triple exposure of trees and separate leaves.  I love the colours at this time of year so l am giving you warning now of more to come.

On another note, sitting in bed (it is 6:55am) listening to the rain, l have just received a wonderful good news email from a friend who has been given an all clear from cancer. The best of ways to start the new week.
