Paelleros

How many Spanish men does it take to make a paella. Judging by this, at least five. Looks like paella is the male equivalent of our bbqs!
Mr P and I left son no 3 asleep and went to Mass this morning. I was also first in the queue at our local paella takeaway. At that point I didn’t realise that there was going to be a paella event taking place round the corner from our flat!
In the morning we walked through the Turia Gardens to the beautiful Jardin de Monforte.
After we’d stuffed our faces with our takeaway paella at lunchtime, we had ice creams and walked around our local park in the afternoon. We saw son no 3 off on his train back to Barcelona this evening. We really enjoyed having his company this weekend and we’re missing him already.
