The most sincere pumpkin patch

Linus Van Pelt was always so patient in believing that Great Pumpkin would appear … they never did.

Anyway, it seems that pumpkins are big business in the UK, as we found out when we visited the Balgone Estate to suss out their pumpkin patch and Haunted Trail (see extra).

Both the patch and the trail were very popular with families. We have never seen so many toddlers being pushed round in wheelbarrows with pumpkins, it was all very sweet.

After the pumpkin patch, we went on the Haunted Trail which was suitably spooky. 

Now back home and catching up on some reading and watching the final part of the Elizabeth Taylor documentary, she was one tough lady.
