And champagne . . .

Just arrived back at the hotel after a super day.

Of course Joanne and I spent the day at the Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace. We took a workshop where we stitched some abstract floral pieces using all recycled materials - great fun. We watched a catwalk of knitwear, wandered galleries and exhibitions and ended up inevitably at the champagne bar. The great guy and his assistant kept everyone entertained whilst serving fizz - they posed so well for a photo it just had to be my blip.

Meanwhile Gordon and Greg went . . . well the extra photo is a clue.

Eventually we all met up and went for a meal in Crouch End - French again but this time a Jay Rayner approved place . . . very French, very delicious.

I think it’s time for bed.
