Blue Danube

A warm sunny day. Budapest was at its autumnal best. We climbed to The Citadel. We explored the labyrinth of halls around the Turkish Baths. We swarmed over Castle Hill and marvelled at the EU funded renovations there. We enjoyed lunch beside the Danube sheltering in the shade of a plane tree and dinner at friend’s house in the suburbs. No sight of the comet A3 but shock at the news of Alex Salmond’s death.
