Purring for Scotland

The boys put in a big effort at last night's whisky club, which was an away fixture.  It rolled into Saturday.  A Scapa 13yr old was declared the winner. I came home wearing Ian's kep.  Not many hours later another set of boys turned up to spin some platters in the Shack. Davy Spillane. John schofield.   Bonnie Raitt. Eric truffaz - Big tick. Cinematicorchestra.  Phil Upchurch.   You are wolf.  A song wi' nae words.  Brad Melhdau. Otis Spann. Cannonball Adderley.   Kathryn Tickell. Terry Allen. Nick Harper. Jan Garbarek.  Esbjörn Svensson Trio. Erland Cooper.  John Fahey.  John Schofield reprieve.  The Current Mrs Creel provided an utterly superb lunch.  It was not unlike the infamous lock-in the Cullen tearoom.  Nobody is any the wiser.  Bibs waits patiently for her piano lesson.  It's never a good sign if she gets the lid up.
