Anse Source d’Argent

Our last day on La Digue and we decided to hire bikes to get around the island , which is very tiny.
The bikes were death traps with poor gears, no helmets no lights no bell and barely functioning brakes. Such fun!
First we went north and then we came back  and went south!
There were some interesting hazards on the roads (Extra)
There’s a sort of National Park here with this beautiful beach, main photo, an old copra press where a bullock drawn mill was used to extract the oil from coconut flesh, an old cemetery, a farm,  lots of tourist stalls and various other attractions. We spent a couple of hours on the beach but it’s been pretty windy today so the rough sea wasn’t very inviting.
We have to pack up and go to the main island of Mahe in the morning.
