Crime books festival starts

I had a busy day. As soon as I got up I started to make a lasagne for Saturday as I have R staying and I will be out all day. Plus you need to let the lasagne rest once it’s made to soften the pasta. In the middle of that, I went to my exercise class. Then in the evening I went to the first event of the festival, a film night. Friend J came with me for a Pizza Supper and a film noir from 1953 in black and white, The Big Heat, directed by Fritz Lang. Glen Ford played the slightly flawed hero and one of the baddies was a very young Lee Marvin. An enjoyable evening and I am looking forward to the next two days.
