Rainbow

On my way to work this morning and as I turned at the corner of my street, I was greeted with this rainbow. I pulled over right away to get a couple of photos. 

The roommate I had for 10 years before I moved is in the hospital now. His grandson called me this morning to get my address because Alan had the book and the 50/50 tickets for the brunch club, and he had asked his grandson to get them to me. Alan just called me himself, he had had some minor surgery in the spring and now he has flesh eating disease. They have done one surgery already, and he is scheduled for another one tomorrow. If they don't get it all tomorrow, he will need more surgery on Sunday. He expects to be out of commission for a month, possibly more.

And the trip to Burntcoat that was planned for tomorrow has been cancelled due to the weather. There is a wind warning for tomorrow. Rain in the forecast for Monday. And I have been trying to find a turkey breast for the past couple of weeks so I could make myself a Thanksgiving dinner, but when I go to the store they never have any. I  did buy a ham tonight. But it's not really what I wanted.
