Fall color
Since the plans for today were cancelled I decided to take a drive to see some of the fall colors. East thru Lawrencetown to Musquodobit Harbour, then north to Middle Musquodobit, cross country to Elmsdale, south to Fall River and home. Lots of places to stop and photograph the fall colors. I also seen some kite surfers at Lawrencetown.
The rain started when I stopped in Elmsdale. It stopped by the time I got to Fall River, and I was glad that it did. There was one spot that I wanted to stop at, Lock 4 of the Shubenacadie Canal. I had stopped there in the spring for some photos and wanted to get some fall photos too.
By the time I got home the wind had really picked up. I was glad that we were not trying to walk on a muddy ocean floor. It's still windy now but not as bad as it was this afternoon.
Hopefully the red sky tonight is a good sign for tomorrow. No photos of the sunset as the angle has changed and it is behind the trees now.
