An ordinary life....

Green light...

Up early and organised to be at PRI by 9.45am for my hysteroscopy.

I was taken straight away as the nurse explained the patient before me hadn't turned up.  That made me angry, I've been waiting for months for this.  The waiting lists are long then people don't turn up.  Grrrrr!

Well the next half an hour wasn't the most pleasant of my life but those nurses were angels, doing all they could to make me feel comfortable and chatting non stop to keep me occupied.  I now await the results and my care is being passed back to the gynaecologist I've been seeing since 2021 as she's now back from a period of extended leave.

Was back in the car by 10.30am and, given the not so great start to the day, D treated me to breakfast at Gloagburn.  Lovely!

Home for a lemsip and feet up.  Cold is still lingering but not getting any worse.  I did a covid test before going to the hospital just to be on the safe side, but it was negative.  It definitely feels like just a head cold.

Crocheted another bonnet to match the baby blanket.  This one is newborn size.  Just finished that when the yarn I ordered for the second baby blanket I'm going to make, arrived.  Great timing.  Got started on that. I'm looking forward to this one as it's back to making granny squares (daisy pattern this time) and I do enjoy making squares :-)

Beef stroganoff for dinner and some rubbish tv.

Meant to mention this earlier in the week,  Our friend Carole (and Lola's breeder) sent me the photo in extras earlier in the week.  It's Lola's mum Lily, who is 10 1/2.  Carole was showing her at a Golden Retriever's Club of Scotland event last week and she won veteran bitch, best veteran bitch then got awarded best veteran in show. Well deserved, she is such a beautiful dog in looks and temperament. Over the moon for Carole.

No photos taken today other than this shot of the sun hitting the leaves of the peace lily. I liked the green :-)
