Meetings

It was so good to meet very old friends P&P. We live 65 miles apart but we found a pub that was about an hour away from each of us and met for lunch. We had plenty to talk about, catching up with news of our families and, inevitably , our health. The restaurant was very busy. Paul was attracted to the display for the pub’s Christmas celebrations. but we don’t think we will be booking up.
Having said farewell to P&P we made our way for a quick stop to see nearby Jem and Mik who had 2 year old granddaughter Evie staying with them. It was fun seeing the two year old having fun with her grandparents. They are going to have a happy weekend.
