Notes: Lost my whole post I had written - so annoying. Quick recap then as too much to even remember. Got out early to survey the Hurricane Milton damage to our complex. My building and car ok, lots of debris, a big tree into the side of a building, some palm trees snapped this carport crashed in. The huge beautiful tree over the main road in has a big crack down the middle of it. Took awhile to see if I could get to storage and Ellen driving by was able to try my code and get in. Susan and I headed down tho not till noon-ish or after. Most traffic lights were out so was quite an interesting drive down and back. We first stopped at Carlene's and I took pics and checked on the windows and to see if there was any flooding. On to storage, Ellen met us there and wasn't too long to unload. We then had to go to Susan's place in Town Shores as well as continue west to check her friend's house near Stetson - I wanted to go east and hit 275. Much longer trip home and had several more little detours just to get thru. Later afternoon, Eric & Linda let me into one of the snowbird units they watch and I was able to transfer all my fridge and freezer stuff. Didn't do a lot more packing - nice break - hung out talking to E&L here and there and then took some food over to the clubhouse to use the toaster oven and ate there while I charged up my phone. Cool shower and used the battery pack in the evening to watch a little Netflix (finished Kaos) before going to bed - exhausted.
