Chippenham (Thursday 10th October 2024)

I had to abort a rainy bus trip into Chippenham on Tuesday when two in a row were cancelled and the third may have been subject to delays due to an RTA on the A4. Instead, I got my bus ride today, and was able to buy the copy of The Wire I was after (see 1st Extra).

I had a look at the River Avon and found a family of swans being fed near the bridge (2nd Extra) just below the pigeon that gave me my blip. Chippenham is looking a little the worse for wear these days, as are many market towns, but I took a shot of the Market Place anyway (3rd Extra).
