Jess and I rode the bus into town to fetch my car from the garage and then we drove to Mabie Forest for a walk in the beautiful autumn sunshine. T-shirt weather!

I have always wanted to find porcelain mushrooms (Oudemansiella mucosa) and here they are on a dead beech tree. Also spotted some young Trooping Funnels (Clitocybe geotropic) - see extra.
