morning

Well....last night was amazing! The Merry Dancers put on a light show for us which lasted from about 8 o'clock until well after I went to bed. It was visible from out here with the naked eye and this morning FB was full of photos snapped by very excited people :-) I found it hard to settle down to sleep as the sky was still glowing, but I did eventually nod off, and then woke to a lovely sunrise.

This is the scene which greeted me as I walked down to catch the bus for work. There was quite a heavy frost, so I expect that will be the end of the runner beans. They never really have a proper chance to get going.

I enjoyed work today - we had some new and enthusiastic young people who were all eager to learn. I expect their heads were buzzing by the end of the day.. As the cafe closed, we moved the shop and tables  to change the space into a theatre - the Dorothée Pullinger play is being staged tomorrow night and it is completely sold out!
