Back at the creek...

A wet and grey start to the day, but I got my butt in gear and ventured out as I had stuff to take to the clothes bank and a little bit of shopping to do.  And ended up walking by the creek as I hadn't been down there for a while and it's nice to see the wading birds back at low tide - curlew, egrets, godwits, redshank, teal, gulls, cormorants to name a few and a lovely heron on patrol too.

Feeling so sluggish this week and my computer came out in sympathy this morning as it took an hour for it to work, after an update last night! So now to catch up with all that I had planned for this morning!  Was also gripped last night watching live coverage on Youtube from various storm chasers who were out in force across Florida for Hurricane Milton  -can't even begin to imagine how scary it must have been for all who live in its' path.
