Towers of London

I have colourised this a smidge through the iPad’s photos app, just so you can see the poor little Tower of London.  Hard to summon up the fear and wonder that it must have caused in the past.  I clipped the hideous Walkie Talkie tower out of the picture because it ruins every image it’s in.  

Took this on the way to lunch with Laura , my former Head of Development at a sub par Real Greek by Tower Bridge which is near her office.  She’s about to go on maternity leave and I haven’t seen her for ages.   It was good to catch up.  Prior to that I met up with Ben at the Ivy Club.  

After lunch I bit the bullet and bought a coat for warmth in Norway.  I can’t stand Gortex or spending any money on that kind of thing so I bought something that is supposed to keep you warm for ‘minimal energy output’.  That’s me.  

Dinner at Chris and Lucy’s which was great fun and a midweek treat.
