A very special birthday

Today is my birthday and I had a wonderful day (I’ll keep you guessing but suffice to say that it marked another decade). All my children and grandchildren contacted me to wish me a happy birthday and this evening S and I went for a lovely meal at a nearby gastropub. We had a delicious mid week tasting menu and somewhat over generous wine pairings. To top it all, the atmosphere and service were excellent. I didn’t want it to end.
